Sellers may have a maximum of five identical items at one time. For store ads, a maximum of one identical ad applies.

Reason For The Rule
It is primarily aimed at giving all our sellers the opportunity to be visible in all categories. When a seller places many identical items in a category, it reduces the visibility of other people’s ads. A varied selection makes it more attractive for buyers to browse the ads, it is also easier to find what you are looking for. This benefits Trader’s buyers and sellers and makes Trader Pakistan a better marketplace.

Two items are considered identical when it comes to exactly the same items (this does not apply to items marked as “Used”). For store ads, we have limited the number of identical items to an ad, since stores have a stock feature. If you have different variants of similar products, you are allowed to place them in separate advertisements. Every store ad needs to be unique. For larger campaigns, certain exceptions to this rule may occur, which is always done in agreement with Trader.
